Qingdao freight industry continues to improve safety management and stick to the bottom line

Safety is paramount. Qingdao Transportation Center strives to implement the three-year safety production governance plan to clarify the safety responsibilities of enterprises and promote the continuous, standardized and high-quality development of the industry.

Rigorous supervision to help enterprises. Through collaborative supervision and on-site inspections, the center focuses on key elements such as employee safety education, real-time elimination of accident hazards and construction of safety systems, and effectively implements the safety policies of human defense, technical defense and management defense. This year, a total of 1,143 staff members have been dispatched to inspect 243 general cargo enterprises and 173 hazardous cargo enterprises, and guide enterprises to rectify more than 200 safety hazards, significantly reducing safety risks.

Improve the system and manage meticulously. Our group held 9 freight industry assessment and early warning meetings, conducted safety reviews on 719 companies, and issued early warnings for 223 hazardous cargo companies and 391 general cargo companies, analyzed the problems in depth, and urged companies to take corrective measures. The hierarchical enterprise management model is becoming increasingly mature.

Deepen safety governance and take action. In accordance with the deployment of the superior's "Three-Year Action Plan for Root Cause Treatment of Work Safety (2024-2026)", combined with various special activities, the activities are made more colorful and effective. Use a classification and grading method to manage enterprises, increase supervision of key enterprises, pay attention to important links such as "five must-learns", major hidden danger lists, training and education, and assist enterprises in controlling risks and eliminating hidden dangers.

Improve the level of information management. Following the pace of the city's dynamic monitoring platform upgrade, according to actual business needs, continuously optimize and improve technical solutions, build enterprise safety risk models, and provide strong support for data integration, precise analysis, and detailed processing; add industry and enterprise interaction functions to ensure that the entire process of information transmission is traceable and achieve closed-loop management of safety hazards.

Pay attention to education and training and emergency support. Continue to urge enterprises to strengthen employee training, organize enterprises to learn work safety laws and standards, pay attention to the physical and mental health of employees, especially protective measures in severe winter weather, and strive to achieve industry safety from post-event remedies to pre-event prevention, and ensure the safety and stability of industry order.
