The "Lubing Multimodal Transport Hub Center" was awarded a plaque, making the logistics channel from Qingdao to Xinjiang smoother

Recently, Shandong Hi-Speed Group successfully held the unveiling ceremony of the "Shandong Bing Multimodal Transport Hub Center" in Xinjiang International Logistics Industrial Park and Xinjiang Branch of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Demonstration Zone, and successfully launched the first railway-sea multimodal transport freight train, fully promoting the integrated and coordinated development of Shandong and Bing, and striving to create a new situation.

This "Shandong Bing Multimodal Transport Hub Center" was appointed by the Commerce Bureau of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. It will connect the Shandong-Xinjiang logistics channel and become an important strategic layout of Shandong Hi-Speed Group in Xinjiang. The center is located in the core areas of Urumqi West Station, Container Center Station and Airport District, covering an area of 535 acres, including three railway dedicated lines, four modern warehouses, customs supervision areas and comprehensive service buildings and other facilities. We look forward to this project being closely connected with Shandong Hi-Speed's existing multimodal transport hub network to build a logistics trunk road that runs through the east and west and covers both domestic and foreign markets.

At the unveiling ceremony, the first railway-sea multimodal freight train loaded with 50 containers of tomato sauce departed from the "Lubing Multimodal Transport Hub Center" and is expected to arrive at Tianjin Port before sailing overseas. In order to ensure the safety and efficiency of cargo transportation, this train adopts the "one-box system" transportation method, which can achieve seamless docking and real-time monitoring throughout the entire process, greatly improving transportation efficiency and reducing logistics costs.
