The Ministry of Transport and the National Development and Reform Commission recently jointly issued the "Action Plan for Reducing Costs, Improving Quality and Increasing Efficiency in Transportation and Logistics", which clearly stated that by 2027, the cost of transportation and logistics will be effectively reduced, the service quality will be significantly improved, and the economic benefits will be significantly enhanced. According to industry leaders involved in the plan, transportation and logistics play a key role in promoting national development. Therefore, this plan includes a number of specific measures such as building a national three-dimensional transportation network, optimizing the transportation structure, and promoting the deep integration of transportation and logistics with the industry, in order to achieve comprehensive cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency improvement in transportation and logistics, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of the economy and society.

According to the action plan, by 2027, my country will build a more complete national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network, the level of infrastructure interconnection will be further improved, the transportation structure will be continuously optimized, the national railway freight transportation turnover is expected to increase by about 10% compared with 2023, the port container rail-water combined transportation volume will increase by about 15% annually, and the reform of the comprehensive transportation system will also achieve major breakthroughs. At the same time, the "one order system" and "one container system" of multimodal transport will be widely used, the efficiency of freight organization will be greatly improved, and it is expected to cultivate a group of leading enterprises with international competitiveness. By then, the supporting role of transportation and logistics in the construction of a modern industrial system will be more prominent.
